This notecard explains how everything works, followed by
answers to the questions we get asked most.

1. WHAT YOU NEED
—————————————————–
* Starter ponies – a Mare (female) and a Stallion (male)
if you want to breed. They come in a Starter Box.
* DFS BSP Food Trough and DFS BSP Water Trough
* Refills (Food Sack / Water Container) to top them up
* A Birth Box for every foal
* Optional: Breeding, Recovery and Perma Pet potions
TIP: The DFS BSP Starter Pack has everything to begin:
food and water troughs, a mare and a stallion starter,
a birth box and extra food and water refills.
All DFS items are NO COPY / NO MOD / NO TRANSFER and
are registered to you on our server.

2. GETTING STARTED
—————————————————–
1. Pay a DFS vendor. You can buy 1, 5, 10 or 20 at a
time with the pay buttons.
2. The DFS Delivery Terminal sends your items within
about a minute.
3. Rez the Starter Box. It loads your pony’s details
(gender, skin, hair) and shows them.
4. Touch the Starter Box to deliver your pony. Each
box holds exactly one pony.
5. Your pony arrives with its own name and loads by
itself. Touch it for its menu – you can Rename it.
The object in your inventory is named
“DFS BSP ” so it is easy to find.
6. Rez your food and water troughs within 20 metres
of your ponies.
NOTE: Please wait for a box to finish (“Please wait…”)
before touching it again.

3. FOOD AND WATER
—————————————————–
* DFS ponies eat and drink ONLY from DFS BSP troughs.
They do not use hay or troughs from other systems.
* While rezzed, a pony checks every 5 minutes and eats
or drinks when it is below 95%, from a trough within
20 metres.
* Hunger goes from 100% to 0% in about 3 days (72 h);
thirst in about 2 days (48 h). This also happens
while the pony is in your inventory – but it can
only eat and drink while rezzed.
* Each trough holds 1000 units. One pony uses about
33 food and 50 water a day, so a full pair of
troughs feeds 2 ponies for roughly 15 days (food)
and 10 days (water).
* Refills: rez the refill within 10 metres of the
trough and touch it. It only pours in what the
trough is missing and keeps the rest – the refill’s
hovertext shows the units left. It removes itself
when empty.
* Trough access (touch the trough):
Private (default) – only YOUR ponies
Group – ponies set to the same group as the trough
Public – any DFS pony
* The trough tells you when it is running low or empty.

4. SICK PONIES (THEY NEVER DIE!)
—————————————————–
* If hunger or thirst reaches 0% the pony gets SICK.
* A sick pony cannot breed or give birth, and stops
eating – but it never dies and is never deleted.
* A Recovery Potion cures it and refills hunger and
thirst to 100%.
* You can keep a sick pony as a decoration and turn its
hovertext off.

5. AGEING AND BREEDING
—————————————————–
* Ponies age in real time – rezzed or in inventory.
* A pony can breed from 7 days old.
* To breed: put your mare and stallion within 5 metres,
touch one of them and choose Breed. Your ponies of
the other gender nearby are listed (nearest first,
9 per page) – pick the partner.
* Both must be: yours, healthy, 7+ days old, not waiting
their cooldown and under the foal limit.
* Related ponies (parent/child, brothers and sisters,
half-brothers and half-sisters) cannot breed.
* After breeding, BOTH the mare and the stallion wait
7 days before they can breed again. The wait starts
at the moment they breed.
* The mare is pregnant for 3 days, then “Ready to foal”.
* Foal limit: 10 per mare (foals born) and 10 per
stallion (foals sired).
* One stallion can breed with several mares – but only
once every 7 days.

6. BIRTH BOXES AND FOALS
—————————————————–
* You need ONE Birth Box for EACH foal.
* When the mare says “Ready to foal”: rez a Birth Box
within 5 metres of her, touch the mare and choose
Birth.
* The foal is created and loaded into the box – the box
shows the foal’s coat. Touch the box to deliver it.
* Foal facts:
– Gender is random.
– Generation = the higher parent’s generation + 1.
– 10% chance of the mother’s skin, 10% the father’s,
otherwise a new skin rolled by rarity.
– Hair: 10% mother’s, 10% father’s, otherwise random.
* A birth box holding a foal can be sold in-world
(touch it – Sell).

7. SKINS, HAIR AND RARITY
—————————————————–
Rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary,
Mythic. Higher tiers unlock as generations go up:
Common – from Generation 0 (all starters)
Uncommon – from Generation 2
Rare – from Generation 4
Epic – from Generation 6
Legendary – from Generation 8
Mythic – from Generation 10
* A skin inherited from a parent can appear in any
generation.
* Seasonal / holiday skins are only rolled during their
event dates.
* Hair (mane, tail, eyelashes) has no rarity.

8. POTIONS (NOT Available Yet)
—————————————————–
Rez a potion within 5 metres of your pony, touch it and
pick the pony. Each potion works ONCE and then removes
itself. A potion the pony refuses is NOT used up.
* BREEDING POTION
– Pregnant mare: she is ready to foal straight away.
– Otherwise: skips the 7-day wait between breedings.
– One per pony per breeding cycle.
– Does not skip the first 7 days of age, does not
reset the foal limit, not for sick or perma ponies.
* RECOVERY POTION
– Cures sickness, hunger and thirst back to 100%.
* PERMA PET POTION
– Your pony becomes a Perma Pet forever:
no food or water needed, never sick, stops ageing
and NEVER BREEDS again.
– Not for a pregnant mare – let her give birth first.
Every potion lowers the pony’s conformation by 2.

9. YOUR PONY’S MENU (touch the pony)

Rename – give your pony a name (max 30 letters)
Text On/Off – show or hide this pony’s hovertext
Refresh – load the latest status now
Update – get the newest version (all data kept)
Sell – sell the pony in-world for a price you set
Breed/Birth – see sections 5 and 6
Convert – retire the pony for points (permanent!)
Low Li Ver / Animesh Ver
– swap to the low land impact version or
back (all data kept)
Traits – Own / Parents / All: the pony’s traits,
its parents’ or both
VISITORS who click your pony get Info (the hovertext)
and Traits (Own / Parents / All) – nothing else.

10. HOVERTEXT ON/OFF

* All your ponies nearby: type in local chat
/1 textoff or /1 texton
* One pony: touch it – Text Off / Text On.
* The setting is remembered after take / re-rez.

11. ATTACHING AND WALKING WITH YOUR PONY
—————————————————–
The Animesh pony is animated: it idles and dances when
rezzed, and you can attach it and walk around with it –
it walks, turns, runs and jumps with you.
(The Low Li version has no animations.)

12. UPDATES, REDELIVERY AND LOST ITEMS
—————————————————–
* Update (pony, trough, refill, potion, empty birth
box): the old object removes itself and the Delivery
Terminal sends a new one with all its data.
* Lost a pony or it did not arrive? Touch the DFS
Delivery Terminal – it re-sends anything still
waiting for you.
* A pony, box or item that was replaced stops working
and removes itself – only the newest copy works.
* Your ponies’ data is kept safely on our server.

14. FAQ – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
—————————————————–
Q: Do the ponies eat hay or use other farm troughs?
A: No. They only eat and drink from the DFS BSP Food
and Water Troughs, filled with DFS BSP refills.
(Working with DFS crafting is planned for the future.)
Q: Do they drink from the trough?
A: Yes – one trough for food and one for water. Both
must be within 20 m of the pony.
Q: Can my ponies die?
A: No. If hunger or thirst reaches 0% they get sick and
stop breeding until cured with a Recovery Potion.
They are never deleted.
Q: Do I need a new Birth Box for every foal?
A: Yes, one Birth Box per birth.
Q: Do I need one stallion for every mare?
A: No. One stallion can breed with several mares, but
only once every 7 days.
Q: How many babies can a pony have?
A: 10. Each mare can have 10 foals and each stallion can
sire 10. After that it can’t breed anymore, but stays
as a pet.
Q: Does the stallion have a cooldown too?
A: Yes. Both the mare and the stallion wait 7 days after
breeding.
Q: When does the cooldown start?
A: The moment they breed. The 3-day pregnancy is inside
the 7 days, so a pair can have one foal a week.
Q: Can I use the Breeding Potion more than once?
A: One potion per pony per breeding cycle. Each potion is
used up when it works.
Q: Can Perma Pets breed?
A: No. A Perma Pet doesn’t eat, drink or age, and never
breeds again.
Q: Can my ponies just be pets?
A: Yes! You don’t have to breed. Keep them fed, or let
them sit sick as decorations (hide the text), or make
them Perma Pets.
Q: Can I breed with someone else’s pony, or group owned
ponies?
A: Not yet – both ponies must belong to you.
Q: Can my ponies use a friend’s or a group’s troughs?
A: Yes, if the trough’s owner sets its access to Group
(same group) or Public. Troughs are Private by
default.
Q: Can I cuddle or carry my pony?
A: Yes – attach the Animesh pony and walk around with it.
Q: My pony is sick – can I hide that?
A: Yes, turn its hovertext off (Text Off or /1 textoff).
Q: Do ponies age in my inventory?
A: Yes, age and hunger/thirst run in real time. They can
only eat and drink while rezzed.
Q: My starter / birth box says “Please wait…”.
A: It is talking to the server – give it a moment. Don’t
take it back while it is delivering.
Q: My box says “No free pony” / “leftover box”.
A: Each box holds one pony. Deliver your other boxes
first. A box left over from before your latest
purchase has no pony of its own – delete it.
Still stuck? Contact us with your order number.
Q: Something didn’t arrive.
A: Touch the DFS Delivery Terminal. If that doesn’t help,
contact us with your order number (shown in the
vendor’s thank-you message).
Q: Can I sell my pony?
A: Yes – touch it, choose Sell and set a price. The
buyer pays you directly and receives the pony from
the Delivery Terminal.
